I’m Victoria Méndez and I’ll be responsible for providing you with pristine Spanish translations.

While I live in a Latin American country, I’m highly aware of regionalisms. I will therefore select vocabulary that is understood by the majority of Spanish speakers.

I have two legal translation degrees, an ATA certification from English into Spanish and a solid background in translation and editing. I’m also an experienced project manager, so I know how to ensure everything goes smoothly before, during—and after your project ends.

Experience
I have worked for a variety of direct clients and boutique translation agencies in Uruguay, US and other countries since 2000.
Born and raised in Uruguay and having spent time in other Spanish-speaking countries, I am well-versed in language nuances and cultural differences between different variants of Spanish. I always deliver an accurate translation of your original document that speaks directly to your target reader.
I’ve also worked as a translation project manager which included planning and distributing assignments, overseeing the quality process, dealing with billing and PO tracking, and providing DTP support—all of which make me an excellent and knowledgeable partner for all your translation needs.
